Bible Study at Trinity

Join us in the weekly study of God's Word.

THE SUNDAY MORNING ADULT BIBLE CLASS meets between services at 9:30 a.m. in the gym. The class will study "A Man Named Martin" to help celebrate the 500 anniversary of the reformation. In part 1 of this study, viewers encounter a 15th-century religious reformer from Germany who broke ranks with the Catholic Church. This bible study is the first of a three-part series devoted to Martin Luther -- a monk whose spirit-inspired grasp of God's justification of sinners through faith in the savior was the cornerstone of the protestant reformation. Luther's life and times are examined through the lens of history, religion and theology. Expanding on commentary from Rev. Gregory Seltz, speaker for the Lutheran Hour, numerous scholars add their expertise and perspective to render an illuminating portrait of the life of Martin Luther.

NEW MEMBER CLASS also begins at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall. This class is for those who would like to become members of Trinity and those members who would like a refresher course.

HIGH SCHOOL BIBLE STUDY, led by Kurt Gruben, will join us Sunday mornings for fellowship in the church lounge and then have Bible study in the computer lab.  Their study is based on the book "Deceived by Darkness".

WEDNESDAY ADULT BIBLE STUDY meets at 8:15 a.m. at the Ministry Center. You are invited to a study of one of the most profound books of the New Testament - The Book of Hebrews. If you are looking for a model to follow, a cause with which to identify, you’ll find it here. If you are looking for some serious study, for solid food instead of baby food, you’ll enjoy this study. This first-century letter to the Hebrew Christians is heavy on theology and is filled with all kinds of practical applications for Christian life in this century. But above all, it points us to the Fulfillment of Faith—Jesus Christ—the one who saves us and empowers us to live the new life!

THURSDAY WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY meets at 8:45 a.m. at the Ministry Center. The name of their study is A Work in Progress. How do I make myself better?  To strive for personal betterment is a common and noble mission. A Work in Progress: A Scriptural Course toward Self-Improvement addresses the desire for self-improvement and puts God’s Word at the center of the discussion. Participants hear God’s desire for our actions and realize the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Each lesson also reveals the ways God shows His character traits to us. There is a dual emphasis in A Work in Progress: a lawful “what we should do and how we should act,” coupled with a focus on Jesus’ love and forgiveness for our human shortcomings.

FRIDAY MORNING MEN'S BIBLE STUDY will continue with the book of John. This class meets every Friday, 7 a.m. at the Ministry Center.

SOUL SPA: The Friday Morning Women's Bible Class invites you join them this fall beginning on September 8. 9:30 a.m. at the Ministry Center. Their study this fall is "Soul Spa". Do you need a place to rest your heart? When we are tired or stressed, when our muscles ache and our skin feels dry, we can go to a health spa for renewal. But what do we do when our soul needs care? How do we cope with this hectic, messy, and complicated world? Come to the Soul Spa where spiritual practices refresh you, where God is eager to meet with you and care for your spirit. This study encourages the reader to engage in the holy habits such as Bible study, Scripture meditation, sacred reading, prayer, and more!
