Roger graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.S. in Secondary Education - Math. He received graduate certification as a Director of Christian Education from Concordia University, Seward. He is currently the Director of Outreach and Human Care at Trinity. His childhood home was Ottawa, Kansas.  He has served at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission, KS for four years, and at Grace Lutheran Church in Vancouver, WA for two years as a DCE. He was in Volunteer Youth Ministry in Japan for three years. He was an Evangelistic Missionary to the Moba People Group of Togo, West Africa for 11 years. He was the Director of Youth and Visitation at Trinity, Sheboygan for three years before moving into his current position. He is married to Alice and has five children - Allison Zehnder, Shannon Hoeppner, Amanda Fritsch, Peter, and Kimberly.
