Carla graduated from Concordia, River Forest in 1984 with her BA in Elementary Education. She student taught second grade. She taught third and fourth grade at Immanuel, Sheboygan for three years and taught fifth grade (part-time) at Trinity, Sheboygan for one year.  Carla is starting her tenth year as the second grade teacher and her first year teaching third grade at Trinity.  She has been certified to teach in Illinois and presently has her State of Wisconsin Teaching License. She is married to Greg and has three children: Jessica, Amy, and Peter.
