      About our Church

Trinity Lutheran Church was founded by German immigrants in 1853. Our congregation has grown from sixteen members at its founding to over 1600 today.  Numerous daughter congregations around the city of Sheboygan were begun by members of Trinity, including Bethlehem, Immanuel, and St. Paul.  Trinity Lutheran Church and School have been in continuous existence for over 160 years. What We Believe

With the universal Christian Church, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church teaches and responds to the love of the Triune God: the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Trinity is a member of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS).  The congregations of the LCMS are "confessional."  They hold to the Lutheran Confessions as the correct interpretation and presentation of Biblical doctrine. "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly..."  (Colossians 3:16)

Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is a congregation of God's people gathered together in repentance and faith to receive the forgiveness, life, and peace that our Savior Jesus Christ won at the cross. This place is all about these gifts of our Lord that He gives through His Name, Word, and with His very body and blood for the life of the world. They give us the certainty of salvation and equip us for works of service

On behalf of our congregation we invite you to join us in the Divine Service and in Bible class every Sunday and in the many other activities going on with the family of God here at Trinity.  This is a caring community of faith with much to offer.  We have an excellent day school and staff (3K - Grade 8), many opportunities to grow in faith through Bible study throughout the week, and also many ways in which you can get involved in works of service.

Please look around the rest of our website or better yet, give us a call or stop in at the church.  We would love to meet you and have you become a member of our faith family!

In Christ,

Rev. Timothy J. Mech
