Proclaiming the Eternal Gospel for
170 Years and Counting

Join us as we celebrate 170 years of Making Known the Love of Christ through our church and school. The bells are finally restored thanks to all your support and giving.
On Sunday, October 15th we will highlight the mercy of God by ringing the “Mercy Bell.” Engraved on this bell are these words of Jesus Himself, “I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:32).
On Sunday, October 22nd we will highlight the “Communion of Saints Bell.” Engraved on it are the words, “Come, for all things are ready” (Luke 14:17). Like a dinner bell that rings to tell you it’s time to eat, this bell tells us that it is time for the Lord’s Supper, the meal that delivers the saintliness of Christ and fellowship with God, each other, and all those who have gone before us in the faith.
On Sunday, October 29th, we will highlight “The Voice of the Son” bell. On it are the words, “The dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they that hear shall live” (John 5:25). How fitting that this bell will be ringing on the day we celebrate the Reformation.
Finally, On November 5th, all three bells will be tolled together for the first time since they were refurbished to mark Trinity’s 170th year of proclaiming the eternal gospel of Jesus Christ. “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen” (Jude 1:24-25).
