A GUIDE TO AT-HOME LEARNING

Quarantined?!

We know how challenging this time can be, so we've created a step-by-step guide to help walk you through the process of Trinity's At-Home Learning Experience.

1. Contact The School

In the event you are quarantining due to exposure or a positive result, please contact the school. You will receive an email from a staff member with details pertaining to the Sheboygan Health Department protocol and further information we may need from you.

2. Receive An Email From Your Child's Teacher

You will receive an email from your child's teacher with pertinent information for the work needed to be done during their absence.

3. Go To Your Classroom Web Page

Each teacher has their own page with links to classroom resources. In the event there are numerous students or the entire class with the need to learn at-home, you will be able to find a document with daily updated announcements and assignments your child will need to complete during their absence.

4. Chromebook Pick-Up

Trinity has recently purchased additional Chromebooks so in the event it is needed, many students will have access to their own device. If you are able, please pick up the Chromebook from our office if it was not sent home with your child. If this is not possible, please contact the school office and other arrangements will be made for you.

5. Using Your Chromebook

  • Each Chromebook is pre-programmed with the educational tabs specifically needed for your child's class.

  • Your child already has a password for their chromebook.

  • Login information for the tabs will already be entered, so you or your child simply has to login to the device, and click on the appropriate tabs- no additional username or passwords to remember!

  • The video conferencing application Go Guardian is already synced with your child's Google account, so no action is needed to access this.

6. Submit Completed Work

There will be 2 ways work may have to be submitted:

  • Online via Google Classroom or another online application specific to that class. Teachers will notify parents what application to submit work to at the time At-Home Learning begins.

  • There will be designated weekly drop-off dates for work done on paper that must be submitted in person.
