Food Drive - Nov.
16
Trinity Cub Scouts will be collecting nonperishable food
items in the church lounge before and after both services this
Sunday. All donations will go to the Trinity food pantry.
LeClair Family
Brunch - Nov. 23
Mark your calendar for the LeClair Family Brunch on Sunday,
November 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Voters'
Assembly Meeting will follow at 1 p.m. in the gym.
Thanksgiving
Services - Nov. 26 & 27
Thanksgiving Services this month are Wednesday, November 26 at 6
p.m. and Thursday, November 27 at 10 a.m. Join us in giving
thanks to the Lord from whom all blessings flow. The Hoem
family will be home from the Seminary over Thanksgiving and Joe
will be assisting with the Thanksgiving Services.
Advent by
Candlelight - Dec. 1
This year's Advent by
Candlelight program will be held on Monday, December 1 at 7
p.m. Snow date is December 2. The designated charity is "Project
Linus." Project Linus makes security blankets for children
hospitalized with cancer and to go with medical and work teams to destitute children in Third
World Countries. Call Donna Petzold at 458-5747 or Chris Short at 458-6331
with any questions. Forms are available in the church bulletin or the
church office. Sign up deadline is Monday, November
24. Hostesses are needed.
60th Annual
Choral Candlelight Service - Dec. 14
A Service of Lessons and Carols will be presented by the
Trinity choirs on Sunday, December 14 at 6 p.m.
The Choral Candlelight Service is part of a 60-year
tradition at Trinity. Three
vocal choirs, handbells, and other instrumentalists total over 150
participants in the service.
Many well-known Advent and Christmas carols will be sung by
the congregation. Pre-service
music beings at 5:30 p.m. A
free-will offering will be received.
